The development is awesome...the construction is impressive. The staff treated us like royalty...they spent time showing us the property, took us on the water to see it from the mighty Neuse, allowed us to borrow kayaks to see Mill Creek and bikes to roam the 1000 acres. The weather even cooperated so we could swim in the pool. We felt like we were at home and made new friends and neighbors...wish we didn't have to come "home." Direct access crosses over a handful of privately owned properties, so we'd have to get the blessings of the owners for that to happen. It's not out of the question however and it is something that we hope to figure out in the future.
