SUMMARY:Minnesott Beach Fall Town Cleanup
DESCRIPTION:FALL TOWN CLEAN UP: THURSDAY NOVEMBER 13 AND FRIDAY NOVEMBER 14\nYou must place all items that you wish to have picked up at curbside no later than 7:00am\, Thursday\, November 13th.\nItems must be placed curbside; we will not go onto private property to gather items.\nThis is your opportunity to dispose of those bulky items which are not part of the regular weekly household garbage pickup. \nThis includes: \n\nSoft goods (mattresses and upholstered furniture).\nAppliances (large and small)\, electronic equipment such as computer equipment\, TV’s\, stereos\, and computer games\, tires (rims must be removed)\, construction materials (except for commercial construction materials) and yard debris.\nLeaves\, pine straw and other small items should NOT be in bags or containers. Please just rake them to the edge of the Town’s right-of-way. Limbs must be small enough for one person to load them on the truck. If the limbs are too large for one person to load\, they will NOT be picked up. Limbs larger than four inches (4”) in diameter will NOT be picked up. NO logs of any size.\n\nITEMS NOT PICKED UP are: \n\nCardboard will not be picked up; it should be recycled.\nCommercial debris.\nPropane cylinders\, anything flammable or any hazardous materials. Items are picked up in a specific order because they must be separated prior to being dropped off at the County Transfer Station. Once certain items (metal\, vegetation\, general trash) on a street are picked\, we will not pick up that item on that street again\, so be sure to get all your trash out by 7:00am Thursday November 13th. For example\, once we have gone down a street and picked up metal\, we will not pick up metal again on that street.\n\nPLEASE DO NOT PUT WASTE MATERIALS ON THE RIGHTS OF WAY.\n** Anyone interested in volunteering to assist with the clean-up should contact\nTown Hall. ALL volunteers will be required to sign a waiver and lunch will be\nprovided. Bring a good pair of work gloves and wear long pants.
