The other day we were enjoying the view from our kitchen when suddenly our doorbell started ringing over and over. It was our neighbors, frantic because invaders were attacking the Arlington Place Sales Center. We hurried from our home to the front steps of the office, where we discovered an entire herd of goats.

These funny little guys had obviously escaped from one of the nearby farms. They just kept trotting all over the place, taking full advantage of their newfound freedom and, unfortunately, munching up our landscaping.

Not even a bit shy, they would’ve come right in the office if we had let them. They were quite partial to the newly planted flowers in the big pots on our porches, though honestly they ate almost everything green and leafy they could reach.

We all managed to find the humor in the situation, except for our landscaper who had to replant almost everything!
