The Croaker Festival takes place every year the first weekend of July, hosted by the wonderful folks in the Town of Oriental, just down the road from Arlington Place. Since July 4, 1980, this festival has been an event where families can come and enjoy an old fashioned family Independence Day celebration.
The two day festival kicks off Friday afternoon, July 1st, at Lou Mac park with booths, contests, pageants, a parade, music (and dancing) in the streets, games, the festival Regatta, and it ends with a bang….literally….waterfront fireworks at 9:30 on Saturday evening!
