Fish On!

Neighbor Scott Zillioux and Blair landed some nice Amberjack off-shore this week.  Muscle up boys, those strong jacks put up a good fight!  They launched Scott’s 24′ boat from Beaufort and ran about 30 miles out into the unexpectedly breezy Atlantic.  You can also leave from the AP docks and head down Adam’s Creek which is a part of the Intra-Coastal Waterway.  A fisherman’s playground….in-shore fishing just outside your door and off-shore fishing just down the road / Adam’s Creek / ICW.  The wind might have kept them away from the Mahi this trip, but the 25lb Amberjack and Albacore kept them busy and (I have a feeling) will have them coming back for more action!  Honey hole tip: check out the dozens of artificial reefs in the ocean, some just a few miles off the beach for the good bite and a good fight!  #GoInnerBanks
