It was a friends, food and fish kind of fall weekend! Clear blue skies and temps in the mid 70s made it hard to resist being outside. Such a perfect time to be on the river and 40+ teams of anglers made the most of it Saturday for the Pamlico Inshore Slam Fishing Tournament, sponsored by Arlington Place. Blair and Pete came up about 1/4″ shy of their Slam but 8 hours of fishing capped off by Oktoberfest still makes for a pretty sweet day. We had such a good time 
with friends and neighbors old and new at our AP Oktoberfest last night….now sure to be an annual tradition. There was quite a smorgasbord (that’s German, right?) of food and beverages, let’s just say that no one left hungry….or thirsty!
