The Arlington Place Clubhouse was the base of operations for a group of Eagle Scouts last week. The Eagle Scouts, led by Montgomery Belk (left), set out to construct a much needed kayak rack at Camp Seagull, which is just down the street from Arlington Place. They modeled the rack after the one we have at the Outfitter’s Center that Montgomery had seen when he was visiting Arlington Place last summer with his parents. Monty and his fellow scouts raised all of the money and organized the entire project. Pretty work…the kayak rack is quite impressive! We’re definitely hiring you if we need to build more at Arlington Place 🙂 And we even received a hand written thank you note, those Eagle Scouts are some classy guys and they’re welcome back at Arlington Place anytime!
