It’s that time of year for one of our favorite fish to once again grace the coast of Carolina…..the Striped Bass (a.k.a. Rockfish). Easily our winter ‘fish of choice’, Rockfish migrate between fresh and salt water; and its during the colder months when they show up along our coast making for some prime time fishing. Owners Pete Erickson and Aaron Kelly both had the fishing Gods smiling down on them this week…..
Be on the look out at your local restaurants for Rockfish on the specials board and order it….you won’t be dissapointed! Stripers are delicious so take advantage of their abundance this time of year. Check out the 63 pounder (pending state record) that was landed on the Rigged Up out of Oregon Inlet Fishing Center….
