The Sunfish World Championship is ON and Arlington Place hosted the Opening Ceremonies at our clubhouse for a couple hundred adventurous guests and is a platinum sponsor for the international event. The evening began with a ‘Taste of NC’ dinner where Chef Don and team left no man hungry serving up clam chowder, crab dip, peel and eat shrimp, fried chicken and apple cobbler. Dinner was followed by a parade of nations with team USA (left) and other teams from all over the world, even Bonair, Columbia and Ecuador to name a few. It was an eventful evening with new friends and old that has been followed up by some world class racing that continues through the 18th at neighboring Camp Seagull.
