They’re back! The Old Red Drum are back in the Pamlico Sound. They come to our waters every fall to spawn and will most likely be here until the next full moon, so the bite is on until October! According to our Arlington Place ‘expert anglers’, the best time to hook up is early morning. Since they’re spawning class, they’re just catch and release but these guys don’t seem to mind reeling in monster drum almost 50 pounds! Here are a few pictures of this week’s catch from Blair, Corey, Mr. Ronnie and Mr. Danny. I’d say that’s a pretty good way to spend a sunrise!
