  • Mark your calendars📅 Our annual neighborhood Trick-or-Treating will be on Saturday, October 29th🎃👻  We will start around 5:00 and make our way through Burton Village first, then head towards the river.  Stay tuned to NextDoor.com for more details.
  • Welcome back Peyton!  Mama and baby are doing great… as predicted, she’s a natural.  We’re so happy to have her smiling face back in the office, she has been missed.  We’re lucky to have her and so is baby Fox.  Have you seen how crazy cute this kid is?
  • Homesite 226 goes under contract
  • Welcome to the neighborhood Keeley Pollard!  Keeley is the new owner of homesite 197 on Palm Court.
  • Riverfront homesite 301 goes under contract.
  • Outfitter’s Center exterior is painted.
  • So many new floor plan submissions to the Architect Review Committee… we cannot WAIT to see your homesites transformed into your dream homes!
  • The Laurel model home on lot 71 goes under contract.
  • Homesite 54 goes under contract.
  • Homesite 280 goes under contract.
  • Guard house exterior will be painted soon following some repairs to the soffits and fascia.
  • Welcome to the neighborhood Thomas & JoAnn Norman!  The Normans are the new owners of  homesite 301 at the end of Burton Farm Drive overlooking the Neuse River.
  • New wetland delineation submitted for the acreage lots on the left side of Burton Farm Road.
  • Certificate of Occupancy received for 759 Mill Creek Drive.
  • Homes currently under construction on homesites: 71, 76, 106, 129, 269, 314, 336, 355, 356, 357 and 359.
  • A reminder to register for the fishing tournament, only $5!  Keegan is leading so far but here comes trout season so I have a feeling he’ll be dethroned.  See Bob for details, you can usually find him at the docks 🙂

  • IT TAKES A VILLAGE: AP is HUGE and we can’t be everywhere at once.  We often get messages about minor issues and would love if neighbors could help out with the little stuff.  So many of you are already doing this and we appreciate it more than you know, but we’d love everyone to pitch in.  Of course, there are many things that we’d never ask/expect you to take care of and for those things, an email can be sent to an Advisory Committee member.  Thanks in advance!!!
  • DAY DOCKS: reminder from dockmaster Bob…
    • If you are out on the river and coming back, put a bucket on the piling of the slip.
    • Only use YOUR ropes!
    • Park at an angle or across the street and don’t block anyone in
    • You do not own the docks/slips, they are ‘day’ docks to be enjoyed by all.
  • EVENTS: only owner events will be allowed at the pool/clubhouse.  An owner can no longer sponsor an event for someone else, it must be their personal event.  Event schedule will be posted on the events CALENDAR.  Event form can be found in the document library in the owner section.
  • PICKLEBALL: will be played this month on the tennis courts, weather permitting.  Have questions or want to join?  Email Dennis: dgbalsly@msn.com
  • AMENITIES USE: all guests, friends, family of owners MUST BE accompanied by an owner to use AP amenities.
