November 2015 Community Update
- Welcome to the neighborhood, Bob & Ann Whitman, new owners of homesite 157 at 210 West Burton Farm Road.
- Welcome to the neighborhood, Brian & Carla Smith. The Smith family are the new owners of the Tight Lines Cottage, 1044 Mill Creek Drive.
- Homesite 288 goes under contract
- Holiday Oyster Roast set for Sunday, December 13th at the clubhouse at 4:00. Pot luck style and Boddie Noell is providing the oysters! Email becca@arlingtonplace.com with any questions.
- Homesite 309 goes under contract….if you’re counting, that’s 5 lots UC in three weeks!
- Big news 🙂 Gus Lang is crowned Mr. November on the TownDock.net Pet of the Month
- Realtor CE set for December 15th at the clubhouse, 8:00-5:00.
- Meeting with CAMA about boat ramp revised plans.
- Fisheries agency is making us do a plant study at boat ramp location….and of course the study can’t be done until May! We’re all a bit frustrated as you can imagine but our hand are tied.
- Funds previously allocated for ramp in 2015 budget to be used for trails
- Meetings with Cahoon Construction to move forward asap with the construction of a trail system throughout the neighborhood which includes a 300ft boardwalk connecting Burton
- Village (top neighborhood) to the riverfront area.
- Model plans designed by architects and approved for construction early 2016.
- Builder bids for two 2016 model homes received and construction contracts awarded to Coastal Heritage Construction.
- 2016 property maintenance bids received
- 2016 preliminary budgets set for marketing, HOA, property improvements and neighborhood maintenance.
