  • Music Bingo and Run Club OTP

    Join us on Tuesdays to have twice the fun during the Fall/Winter season! Start off at 6pm for our Run Club. All ages and abilities are welcome. Our group meets at 6pm to sign in and then takes off on a run/walk/jog/skip of a 1 or 3 mile course. Go at your own pace and add or remove distance that is best suited for you! Participate for 5 weeks - get a $6 Pitt Street Gift Card! Afterwards, stay for Music Bingo at 7pm! The concept is similar to traditional bingo but it takes music knowledge for this event. Every player has a bingo card with song titles on their card. The host will play a 30 second song clip and participants must recognize the song. Participants stamp it on their card if they have it listed. It is free to participate, and there are prizes for each round! Special Guest Bartenders will be slinging some Holiday Drink Specials! We're also serving up some FREE RETRO TACKY BAR SNACKS for you! We'll have special Tacky Door Prizes plus a $100 Backstreet Pub Gift Card for the attendee with the TACKIEST OUTFIT! Starting @ 8:00...SPECIAL HOLIDAY KARAOKE is rolling!   • Caroling down Burton Farm Drive

    Back so long ago, there was caroling at Christmas time. We went on golf carts last year and it was a lot of fun. Consider this an invitation to go caroling in Arlington Place via golf carts for Phase 1(Old) on the 17th and on the 18th (New), starting at 6:30 PM at the clubhouse on the 17th and at the end of the bridge on the 18th. I will supply carols (LARGE PRINT) and offer a ride on our golf cart to any other couple, as I hope others will do. For those who prefer to stay home and hear the carols, just leave a light on and we’ll stop and sing. Of course, cookies and/or a small libation are welcome!     Pamlico County Senior Center and EP7 Youth Outreach are partnering for a special event to remember our loved ones we've lost. Write your loved one's name on an ornament to hang on the tree. We'll also have a hot chocolate bar, cookies, and grief resources.   • 18th Annual Santa Paws on Parade Downtown New Bern

    Join us for this family favorite and community tradition in downtown New Bern! A short 2 block walk on the sidewalks with families, friends and the STARS YOUR FURRY favorites in festive gear and cheer ! Meet in the open lot on Craven and South Front Street ( across from Nautical Wheelers) for our 20 minute meet and greet with other dogs, Santa / Father Christmas and a group photo. Walk begins precisely at 9:00am. NEW ROUTE! Walk down Craven across south front , left behind hotel ( marina side) and under bridge toward Union Point Gazebo . Walk finishes with water bowls and treats handed out to all walkers at gazebo and Photo opts available throughout morning with Santa / Father Christmas before parade and after. Always hoping to hit a new record in attendance.... more than 350 people and pets is our goal. Best place to park is South Front street toward Union Point area!
