- The March Madness Neighbor v Neighbor bracket challenge is ON! Stay tuned to NextDoor AP Owners and the private Arlington Place owner Facebook page for updates. Here are the standings after the FINAL FOUR🏀🏀🏀🏀 For the first time in 40 years, all 4 #1 seeds are IN, which was worth 32pts! Karen B jumped back on top with 113pts followed by a 3 way tie for 2nd. Carver, Dave B and Troy all have 108pts. Lily M, Tammy Z and Teresa P all jumped way up and have over 100pts.
- The Welcome Center gets remodeled, there are a few final “tweaks” but we’re close to done and can’t wait to show it off!
- A riser and boards were added to the overflow pipe on the new lake. This allows us to raise the water level in the lake by a few feet.
- Everything is greening up! Well, it’s a little yellow at the moment. The pine straw and spring landscaping throughout the neighborhood looks so good.
- The site work for the new storage lot is complete. We are working on labeling all of the spaces, we hope to have the site open this spring.
- You will have an assigned space. Details discussed and posted in the Annual Meeting Minutes.
- The exercise room and the bathrooms in the clubhouse were painted and have new lighting. We still have a few things to add to the bathrooms.
- Pressure washing begins at the amenities. The new pressure/soft wash company is SouthEast Exterior Wash. They’re doing a great job, call Brandon if you need your house washed. Besides looking great, regular washing extends the life of your paint and helps to prevent deterioration of wood elements. Brandon: 252-665-8767.
- I think we’ve worked through the kinks on the new website, ArlingtonPlace.com. The new site is designed with user experience in mind with easy access to all things AP. Check it out: ArlingtonPlace.com.
- The new AP owner page is found HERE. Once logged in you will see links to the monthly updates, meeting minutes, your document library and much more.

- IT TAKES A VILLAGE: AP is HUGE and we can’t be everywhere at once. We often get messages about minor issues and would love if neighbors could help out with the little stuff. So many of you are already doing this and we appreciate it more than you know, but we’d love everyone to pitch in. Of course, there are many things that we’d never ask/expect you to take care of and for those things, an email can be sent to an Advisory Committee member. Thanks in advance!!!
