  • Mark your calendars:  The second weekend in December is always festive with Oriental’s Spirit of Christmas on Friday and Saturday followed by our annual AP OYSTER ROAST on Sunday, December 11th, 4:00 at the clubhouse.  Per usual, the developers will be providing the oysters and some of Gary’s delicious BBQ.  Please bring a dish to share, your appetite, and whatever you’d like to drink.
  • Riverfront homesite 298 goes under contract… only ONE left!
  • Advisory Committee meeting held on November 9th.  Meeting minutes found HERE.
  • All meeting minutes can be found in the ‘Meeting Minutes‘ section of the website. You must be logged in as an owner to view, similar to these monthly posts.  Here’s the LINK.
  • Arlington Place sponsors the Pamlico County Girls on the Run program.
  • Homesite 137 goes under contract.
  • Beginning in 2023, Beth Frazer Rentals will be the property management company for the short term rentals in Arlington Place.
  • Homesite 27 sold and closed.
  • We are still waiting on the metal roofing material to arrive to complete the gate house repairs.
  • 35 new chairs purchased for the pool deck.
  • 2023 vendor contracts submitted for review.
  • 2023 APPOA budget drafted.
  • Pintail Lake project completed by Cahoon Marine Construction: new entrance (you can park in the grass by the well cover), leak in old farm pipe repaired, small beach added, old entrance removed, pilings and rope set in the area closest to the road.
  • Certificate of Occupancy received for the Breezeway model home at the end of Pintail Drive.
  • Homes currently under construction on homesites: 25, 45, 76, 106, 129, 269, 314, 347, 355, 356, 357, 359. 379, and 382
  • A reminder to register for the fishing tournament, only $5!  See Bob for details, you can usually find him at the docks 🙂
  • Our wifi provider is now Brightspeed.  Login to Brightspeed.com, sign in at the top, select ‘I was a former Quantum customer‘ and login with your email address and password.  If you forgot your password you can reset it.  If you need to get in touch with them, the number is 833-363-2500.  Everyone can upgrade to the gig of service with the new equipment.
  • Email peyton@arlingtonplace.com if you need an invite to join our private neighborhood message board on NextDoor.com.  Go to your notification settings if you’re getting too many emails.
  • IT TAKES A VILLAGE: AP is HUGE and we can’t be everywhere at once.  We often get messages about minor issues and would love if neighbors could help out with the little stuff.  So many of you are already doing this and we appreciate it more than you know, but we’d love everyone to pitch in.  Of course, there are many things that we’d never ask/expect you to take care of and for those things, an email can be sent to an Advisory Committee member.  Thanks in advance!!!
  • EVENTS: only owner events will be allowed at the pool/clubhouse.  An owner can no longer sponsor an event for someone else, it must be their personal event.  Event schedule will be posted on the events CALENDAREvent form can be found in the document library in the owner section.
  • PICKLEBALL: will be played this month on the tennis courts, weather permitting.  Have questions or want to join?  Email Dennis: dgbalsly@msn.com
  • AMENITIES USE: all guests, friends, family of owners MUST BE accompanied by an owner to use AP amenities.
