  • Advisory Committee meeting held on June 5th.  Minutes: Advisory Committee Meeting 6.5.18
  • More new pool chairs and new umbrellas ordered for the pool area.
  • Pool deck and the pool bottom were pressure-washed to remove stains.
  • Wildlife contacted to relocate beavers and remove the beaver dam in between homesites 114 and 139.
  • Arlington Place Design & Development Standards revised by the AP team, the developer, the Advisory Committee and attorney Sara Delamar: AP Design & Development Standards 6.29.18
  • Leaking gaskets replaced at pool restoring suction to the pool vac.
  • Ceiling panels ordered for the clubhouse to reduce noise and echoing.
  • Welcome to the neighborhood John and Karin Aey!  The Aeys will be moving here from Ohio in a few years and building their new home on Wild Swan Lane, homesite 122.
  • Construction begins on the Austin’s new home on Chickory Lane, lot 40.
  • New signs ordered for pool gates “Please lock gates when you leave”
  • More pool keys and gate remotes ordered, see Peyton in the office if you need one.
  • New marina configuration presented to governing agencies.  We did not think the concept was well received so we are redesigning portions of the marina basin for resubmittal.
  • Arlington Place is a GOLD sponsor for the Croaker Festival in Oriental.
  • Truckloads of rock added to the road to the riverfront beach and the road was graded in problem areas.
  • Barnhill Contractors will begin installing the top coat of pavement in the lower area of the neighborhood the first week in July, lots 139-413.  See Hootboard for details.  Emails have been sent to homeowners in this area and builders have been notified.
  • New electrical panel ordered for pool pumps that continue to shut themselves off at random.
  • 10 replacement pool lounger slings ordered.  10 more will be ordered in January, on the 2019 budget.
  • Plans to schedule beach rock clean up mid July weather permitting.
  • Gravel added to the middle of the storage area to provide better traction for heavy vehicles, boats and trailers.
  • Annual Neighborhood BBQ scheduled for Sunday, July 1st.  We hope to see many of you there to celebrate summer!
