- Exciting news… the CAMA Major permit for the new design of Arlington Harbor has been issued! This is a HUGE milestone in this process which allows us to move forward with the final marina engineering as well as the Sedimentation Erosion Control permit for excavation. The final engineering plan will give us the details needed for marine contractors to submit accurate estimates. As you can see we still have a long road to construction but having this new permit in hand is a big deal!
- Welcome to the neighborhood to the Jim & Tammy Zalewski! The Zalewski family is the new owners of homesite 289 on Burton Farm Drive.
- We’re not the only ones who live here! There have been recent wildlife sightings all over AP: huge Tom turkeys fanned out, hen turkeys with 12 babies waddling closely behind, river otters by the mouth of Mill Creek, baby killdeer (birds), baby black bear, bigger black bear (guessing that’s the mama), alligator at the stream by the riverfront beach, and that darn feral cat!
- new AP CREW owner stickers ready for pick up at the office to replace the old ones that didn’t have the correct protective coating.
- Pool motor to the pumps breaks! Luckily we were only shut down for 24 hours. The old motor was able to be repaired, thanks to some great folks at D.I. Banks Electric Motor in New Bern. We also placed an order for a brand new pump/motor which will take 6ish weeks. We hope we can use the existing motor throughout the summer and swap it with the new one during the off season, keeping the existing one as back-up just in case.
- Welcome to the neighborhood Rich and Claudia Beland! The Belands are the new owners of Homesite 87 on Peppervine Court.
- Welcome to the neighborhood Susan Klein! Susan is the new owner of homesite 202 on Brightleaf Drive.
- EVENTS: only owner events will be allowed at the pool/clubhouse. A reminder that the clubhouse will not be closed during any events, owners will always have access. An owner can no longer sponsor an event for someone else, it must be their personal event. Events for community organizations supported by AP and owners in AP will be allowed on a case by case basis.
- Make sure you’re signed up for the Nextdoor.com AP Owners private group. We will be posting POA info and other updates on the AP Owners group page only. If you haven’t joined, click HERE and select “Join Group” to request access.
- You will be seeing all new street signs installed soon. We’re excited about this project and think it will be the perfect touch to spruce up the neighborhood! You will also notice that the stop signs will be quite a bit larger. Even though we prefer the smaller ones aesthetically, the larger ones bring us to compliance with current signage regulations.
