  • Mark your calendars, the Neighborhood Oyster Roast is BACK!  This year’s event will be held at the clubhouse on Sunday, December 12th at 4:00.   AP will be providing the oysters and Gary’s BBQ and owners are asked to bring a pot-luck dish to share.  Stay tuned to AP Owners group on NextDoor.com for more details.
  • Thank you to everyone for making the neighborhood Halloween trick-or-treat night so special for the kids, pure joy!
  • halloween 2021Winner of the best Halloween decorations in the hood goes to Tom & Cynthia Cochran who live at the end of Chickory Lane.  Not only was their house dressed for the occasion, we were greeted by quite a spirited group dressed up as well.  We weren’t judging best costume, but if we were Tom would’ve won with his hospital patient costume… let’s just say we all did a double-take when he turned around🤣
  • Welcome to the neighborhood Mike & Lisa Wilson!  The Wilson’s just moved into their new home, the Pamlico Cottage, on Muscadine Court.
  • Welcome to the neighborhood to Chip & Dana & David & Martha!  They are the new owners of riverfront homesite 380 at the end of Brightleaf Drive.
  • Welcome to the neighborhood (again) to the Harrison Family, new owners of homesite 122 on Wild Swan Lane.
  • Homesite 374 sold and closed.
  • Homesite 62D goes under contract.
  • Welcome to the neighborhood to the Fudala Family!  The Fudalas own interior homesites but are now the owners of their favorite homesite in the whole neighborhood, riverfront lot 381.
  • Acreage lots on the Eastern side of Burton Farm Road mapped and surveyed.
  • Homesite 349 goes under contract.
  • Homesite 372 sold and closed on South Brightleaf Drive.
  • Welcome to the neighborhood Orchard Creek Construction.  We’re looking forward to seeing your awesome new home on Chickory Lane.
  • Welcome to the neighborhood David Ray!  The Ray’s are the new owners of creekfront homesite 232 on Golden Fern Lane.
  • Homesite 347 goes under contract.
  • Arlington Place is a sponsor for the Pamlico County Girls on the Run program.
  • Thanks to everyone that participated in the town-wide yard sale!
  • The lake on Pintail Drive is hydra-seeded to stabilize the sloped bank.  We’re still waiting on the well permit but hope to have it soon.
    • There were 30 or so names suggested in the NAME THAT LAKE challenge, see post HERE.  Pintail Lake is the obvious choice… as Ron put it “it’s on Pintail Drive, pintails are a type of duck, ducks like lakes”.  The name also seemed to be well received amongst the crowd, not to mention everyone is already calling it the lake on Pintail.  So Pintail Lake it is!  As mentioned there will be another smaller lake built on the right side of Pintail Drive.  Diane suggested ‘Mini-Pin’ for that one which seems fitting.
  • The top gate now has a new receiver and the remotes that hadn’t been working should be working again.  If you have issues with a remote, please email frontdesk@arlingtonplace.com.
