  • With all of the curveballs 2020 has thrown us in her first 8 months, is anyone surprised that we had an early August hurricane?  Isaias blew through 8/3 and left us with a bit of a mess but no damage or flooding.  We were back to normal in a day or so.
  • MARK YOUR CALENDARS!  Rick, Ginny, Perry and Becky aka Brant Island Strings, will be playing poolside on Labor Day Sunday, September 6th, from 2:00-5:00.  Bring whatever you’d like to eat/drink and don’t forget your pool chairs!
  • Welcome to the neighborhood to the Taylor Family!  The Taylors are the new owners of homesite 211 on Brightleaf Drive.
  • Homesite 28 goes under contract.
  • Rock added to road corners as a preventative measure to protect weaker pavement areas.
  • Welcome to the neighborhood Monteleon Family!  Anthony, Nichole and their three cuties are the new owners of the Creekside Cottage at 956 Mill Creek Drive.
  • Plans approved for new construction homes on lots 18, 110, 243, 317, 386, 205 and 278.
  • Homesite 11 goes under contract.
  • Welcome to the neighborhood to the Boddie Family.  Bunn, Paula, Lilly, Willow and Rosie are the new owners of the Brackish Cottage on Mill Creek Drive.
  • Future development area presented to the Town of Minnesott Beach Planning Board on August 4th.  The Board unanimously voted to recommend approval of revised master plan to the commissioners.
  • Future development area presented to the Minnesott Beach Board of Commissioners on August 11th.  The commissioners unanimously voted to approve the revised master plan.
    • This is not the final plat approval.  We will first have to go through a very involved preliminary plat and final plat submission process.
  • Homesite 99 on Wild Swan Lane goes under contract.
  • NC Governor extends Phase III opening date.  The clubhouse, fitness room and playground will remain closed until further notice.
  • Reminder: the pool is still under the following guidelines:
    • pool furniture removed, bring your own chairs
    • bathrooms and ‘touch points’ sanitized multiple times a day
    • designated entry and exit gates
    • owners and guest must sign waiver before amenity use
    • read and follow rules on posted signage
  • New welcome center sign designed and ordered
  • The Fisherman’s Lure Cottage on W. Burton Farm Drive goes under contract.
  • Free covid-19 testing provided by the towns of Arapahoe and Minnesott Beach avaialble to all residents on August 22nd.  Details posted on Hootboard.
  • Welcome to the neighborhood to the Sarno Family!  Joe and Deb are the new owners of the Reelin in the Years Cottage on Mill Creek Drive!
  • Homesite 18 on Lily Pond Lane goes under contract.
