  • The Carolina Capehouse on Wild Swan Lane, one of the models currently under construction, goes under contract.
  • Certificate of occupancy received for the ‘Le Potager’ home on lot 209.
  • AP signs on to be a featured pit-stop for Cycle NC.  We will be welcoming 1,500 cyclists to the neighborhood on Sunday April 26th.  This time, the pit-stop location will be the Outfitter’s Center, from 8:30-2:00.  We would love to have neighbors volunteer for the event to represent AP, likely in 2 hour shifts, to restock the drink and snack stations and make PB&Js.  Details will be posted on Hootboard soon.
  • Arlington Place will once again have a team in the Oriental Chowder Cookoff on Saturday March 21st from 11-1.  Details found HERE.  Terri MacMahon is heading up team AP, please contact t.delucamacmahon@gmail.com if you can volunteer to help cook or serve… or cook and serve!
  • Welcome to the neighborhood, Willie White and Natalie Morse.  Willie and Natalie just moved into their brand new home on N. Brightleaf Drive.  We can’t wait to have dinner from their outdoor pizza oven!
  • AP signs on to sponsor a Pamlico Babe Ruth Little League team.
  • The Cotton Gin home on Cotton Court goes under contract.
  • All street lights down Brightleaf Drive and Golden Fern Lane have now been installed.
  • New AP CREW owner stickers are in.  If you need one or two, pick them up at the office.
  • Arlington Place will present the future development layout to the Town of Minnesott Beach planning board on Tuesday March 3rd.
  • We have had questions from many of you about the letters from Nextdoor.com that have been mailed to owners regarding an app called Nextdoor Arlington Place.   These state there are already 200+ posts including posts about Crime and Safety issues in the neighborhood; there have been no crime/safety issues posted about AP, most of these posts are articles and advertisements that are not specific to AP.  They appear to be stock letters.  Neighbors are of course free to join any message boards they would like, but we will continue to use Hootboard for neighborhood communication from the office, advisory committee and developer.
  • Second access channel added to the Arlington Place marina plans.  We anticipate submission of the full flushing report model in early March.
  • Keep tabs on life at AP through HOOTBOARD, the EVENTS CALENDAR, and our FACEBOOK, INSTAGRAM and BLOG pages.
