- Michelle Burgess is your POA President for 2024. This is Michelle’s second year as your President and she’s doing a wonderful job. Please thank her when you see her for all of her hard work!
- An Advisory Committee Meeting was held on January 16th, meeting minutes found HERE.
- We would like to thank Bill Cresswell and Rick Vogt for their many years of service on the Advisory Committee. They represented all of you so well and have been an invaluable part of our team. Bill and Rick will be stepping down and Jeff Watkin and Sherry Owens have been appointed to the committee as their replacements, welcome Jeff and Sherry!
- The next Advisory Committee Meeting will be held on February 20th. If you have any questions that you would like added to the agenda, please email an AC member, email addresses found HERE.
- High Tide Creative in New Bern is the new marketing partner for Arlington Place.
- Proposals received for clubhouse remodel.
- Annual dues/assessment invoices were mailed to owners. Dues remain at $1200 for an improved property and $900 for unimproved.
- New area maps designed and printed.
- ArlingtonPlace.com was updated, check out the new “snapshot” page HERE.
- The lake on the right side of Pintail Drive should begin construction by the end of February. Construction should take 2-3 months and another month(ish) to fill er’ up!
- Certificate of Occupancy issued for the River Bend model home.
- Lot 147 closed.
- The Stillwater home on Sailmaker loop closed.
- Welcome HOME Stettler Family! Jeff and Lisa just moved into their beautiful new home on North Brightleaf Drive.
- Homes currently under construction on homesites: 1, 6, 15, 25, 66, 80, 91, 135, 149, 155, 218, 289, 300, 301, 302, 378, 398.
- Who needs a little elbow room? The acreage lots on the left side of Burton Farm Road are now officially for sale! They are all 10+ acres. Contact blair@arlingtonplace.com for details.
- Our Wi-Fi provider is Brightspeed. We have been advised to use the website (not the 800 number) which is q.Brightspeed.com. Everyone can upgrade to the gigabit service with the new equipment.
- Email peyton@arlingtonplace.com if you need an invite to join our private neighborhood message board on NextDoor.com. Edit your notification settings if you’re getting too many emails.
- IT TAKES A VILLAGE: AP is HUGE and we can’t be everywhere at once. We often get messages about minor issues and would love if neighbors could help out with the little stuff. So many of you are already doing this and we appreciate it more than you know, but we’d love everyone to pitch in. Of course, there are many things that we’d never ask/expect you to take care of and for those things, an email can be sent to an Advisory Committee member. Thanks in advance!!!
- EVENTS: only owner events will be allowed at the pool/clubhouse. An owner can no longer sponsor an event for someone else, it must be their personal event. Event schedule will be posted on the events CALENDAR. Event form can be found in the document library in the owner section.
