  • Brant Island Strings band hosted a drive-in concert at Burton Village Park.  HUGE thank you to neighbors Rick & Ginny Vogt for organizing such a special event for everyone!
  • Tennis / pickleball courts open to gatherings less than 10 people, social distancing applies, sanitize ‘touch points’
  • Stay-at-home order lifted on May 9th, Phase 1 openings implemented throughout NC
  • Though never required to shut down, rental cottages were closed throughout April and early May, reopening on May 9th.
    • We had to be mindful about renter discrimination, but did our best to only accept reservations from areas where the guest’s respective stay-at-home orders had been lifted.
    • new cleaning and time frame protocols put in place.
  • Homesite 405 on Brightleaf Drive sold to the Cahoon family
  • New AMENITIES GALLERY
  • New LIFESTYLE GALLERY, maybe you’ll find a picture of yourself!
  • Creekfront homesite 205 on Brightleaf Drive goes under contract
  • Clubhouse, kayak center, and docks were pressure-washed
  • Burton Village pool passes inspection on May 20th
  • Pools were allowed to open with Phase 2 openings on May 22nd.  But due to last minute state rules and regulations, the pool opening was delayed as we met with Seaside Management, the developer, and our attorneys to come up with a solid plan to safely reopen the pool, while protecting the POA and developer from potential liability.
  • Pool opens on May 28th under new guidelines which will be in place until further notice:
    • pool furniture removed, bring your own chairs
    • bathrooms and ‘touch points’ sanitized multiple times a day
    • designated entry and exit gates
    • owners and guest must sign waiver before amenity use
    • read and follow rules on posted signage
  • Clubhouse, fitness room and playground remain closed
  • New furnishings added to the outfitters center and clubhouse
  • The Southern Comfort model home on Pintail Drive goes under contract
  • Homesite 366 prepped for construction of our next model home by Coastal Heritage Construction
  • ‘smile you’re on camera’ signs added to the clubhouse and gatehouse
  • The Falardeau residence is now underway on Azalea Court, built by Cutler Construction
  •  Dry stack storage area designed at the future marina site
  • Spring under-brushing begins
