  • The clubhouse, pool, sports courts, outfitters center and playground were all closed for the month of April following recommendations from our POA management company, their attorneys, and of course the NC Stay at Home Order which currently runs through May 8th.
  • Here’s what we know so far about the pool.  Pools are listed as TIER 2, which means they are allowed to open two weeks after the Stay at Home order is lifted.  We are hoping that the pool can be inspected soon and permit issued with a condition that “issuance of a permit by this department does not negate closure required by Executive Order No. 120”.  So as of now, it’s looking like the earliest date the pool could be open is May 22nd.  Social distancing measures will still apply of course and we’re trying to get some clarification on the gatherings of 10 rule in such a large outdoor space.
  • We plan to open the tennis/pickleball court May 1.  Groups need to be less than ten and the 6 foot social distancing rule will applies.
  • The Outfitter’s Cottages were also closed to guests for the month of April.  Reservations will begin May 9th, after the Stay at Home order is lifted.  Luckily, everyone is quite spread out both at the cottages and throughout the neighborhood.  We will be asking guests to take strict safety precautions.  There will now be a 24+ hour window between rentals which means no same day check outs/ins.
  • Homesite 366 closes and will be the future site of our next model home by Coastal Heritage Construction… name TBD.
  • Certificate of Occupancy issued for the new home at 18 Wild Swan Lane.
  • Site-work begins on homesite 4 on Azalea Court, the future residence of Dave & Malinda Falardeau.
  • Meeting with Quible Engineering to finalize the marina submission package and future development layout.
  • Homesite 114 sold and closed.  The Burgess’s get to spread out on their newly expanded yard!
  • Beach clean up by On the Edge Landscaping crew.  We would still like to encourage owners to groom the beach… as we know, the wind and water make the beach an ever-changing amenity!
  • New street light banners designed.
  • Welcome to the neighborhood Sedaca Family!  Andy, Rebekah and their triplets are the new owners of the Carolina Capehouse on lot 84 and seem to be settling in nicely to their cute cottage.
  • New HOMEPAGE launched
  • Homesite 405 goes under contract
  • The office remains open staffed with one person daily.  We ask that you call, text or email when possible.
