[simple-posts-map]

  • The March Madness Neighbor v Neighbor winners: #1 Paul S. who somehow picked SD St and UConn in the final, #2 was Brian P. and #3 Paula M.  Lucky man Freddie, who finds his way into the money in almost all of our competitions, took the 20th place prize.
  • Welcome to the neighborhood to the Bush Family all the way from Colorado.  Rob & Casey and their two adorable girls are the new owners of creekfront lots 272 and 273… they basically bought a peninsula on Mill Creek!

  • Welcome to the neighborhood to the Kokis Family.  Ted & Kathie are the new owners of 235 S Brightleaf Drive.
  • Certificate of Occupancy issued for the 33 Rigging Loop.
  • The pool was converted from a chlorinator to liquid chlorine with a pump.  We believe the chlorine sticks previously used with the chlorinator caused some chemical balance issues that we had this spring and last.  We were told that a pool our size will be much better served by liquid chlorine.  Also because of the size, we were advised against switching to salt.  The pool is set to be inspected by the county soon with a target open date mid-May.
  • Furniture throughout the neighborhood was painted, loungers re-strung, shade sails hung, gates painted, new furniture assembled, etc… bring on the sunshine!
  • Thank you to the neighbors that volunteered this Sunday at the Cycle NC event.  The weather didn’t cooperate but AP was once again the cyclists favorite pit-stop.
  • ENC Softwash pressure washed the amenities.  I guess “pressure” wash is the wrong word.  The pressure they use is similar to a garden hose, the cleaning comes from the solution they use.  They will be doing the basketball court next week.
  • Next Advisory Committee meeting is scheduled for May 9th.  Please email an AC member if you would like anything added to the agenda.  Email addresses are in the Community Contacts section in the owner portal.
  • Homes currently under construction on homesites: 25, 45, 66, 106, 137, 269, 347, 349, 352, 353, 379, and 382

  • IT TAKES A VILLAGE: AP is HUGE and we can’t be everywhere at once.  We often get messages about minor issues and would love if neighbors could help out with the little stuff.  So many of you are already doing this and we appreciate it more than you know, but we’d love everyone to pitch in.  Of course, there are many things that we’d never ask/expect you to take care of and for those things, an email can be sent to an Advisory Committee member.  Thanks in advance!!!
  • EVENTS: only owner events will be allowed at the pool/clubhouse.  An owner can no longer sponsor an event for someone else, it must be their personal event.  Event schedule will be posted on the events CALENDAREvent form can be found in the document library in the owner section.
  • PICKLEBALL: will be played this month on the tennis courts, weather permitting.  Have questions or want to join?  Email Dennis: dgbalsly@msn.com
