March 2012 Community Update

  • Arlington Place represented at the DC Live South Show
  • April Open House marketing campaign begins
  • archeological study completion releases the hold on CAMA permits for the Mill Creek community docks and hiking trails
  • Fourth Amendment to covenants finalized granting docks, piers and/or sundecks to certain creek front and riverfront homesites.
  • HOA Board meeting 3-23-12
  • Board approves Outfitter’s Cottage proposal, resale marketing display & Fourth Amendment
  • bids received for Mill Creek Dock construction
  • HOA Membership Cards and owner benefits letter mailed to AP owners
  • The Beaufort Cottage goes under contract
  • bids received for Outfitter’s Cottage construction
  • lot 209 cleared for construction
  • new entrance banners ordered
  • spring landscaping and mowing begins
  • meeting with the Minnesott Beach Commissioners about dry stack storage at Arlington Harbor. The commissioners approved the dry stacks and are submitting a recommendation to the County that the language in the Pamlico County Land Use Plan be restructured.
  • Arlington Place to sponsor the Joy Boy double decker boat for river tours at Neuse River Day
