May 2017 Neighborhood Update

  • Pool opens May 1st
  • Arlington Place hosts the 5K Color Run to benefit Pamlico High School
  • seasonal landscaping throughout neighborhood
  • Pickleball lines painted on the tennis courts
  • Arlington Place hosts the Mariner 5K to benefit the Pamlico Christian Academy
  • Quible completes lake engineering. Project sent out for bids from 3 contractors.
  • At the Minnesott Beach May commissioner’s meeting, Arlington Place was asked to submit a revised Master Plan that includes the storage area and dog park as well as new As Built plats for cottage lots 62, 62A and 62E.
  • Revised Master Plan and new As Builts for the Outfitter’s Cottages were submitted to the Town for review in June Meetings.
  • water fountains removed at the clubhouse, to be replaced with Culligan or LeBleu water
  • Sunfish saiilboat purchased for AP owner use. Sailboat is currently on the beach at lot 381.
  • Creekside Cottage at 956C Mill Creek Drive gets Certificate of Occupancy
  • Arlington Place signs on to be a GOLD sponsor for the Croaker Festival, July 4th weekend in Oriental.
  • Well cover built for clubhouse, next to playground.
  • Bid for dog park approved, Cahoon Construction is the contractor. Will proceed with project upon Town approval.
  • Project Manager meets with road contractors to bid the top coat on Burton Village roads.

  • Arlington Place signs on to be a sponsor of the Mad Hatter Beach Ball to benefit the Partnership for Pamlico Children.
  • Water aerobics scheduled for Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at the pool from 9-10, June-August.
  • Pickleball scheduled for Tuesdays and Thursdays, 8-11.
