- 8-31-23: Idalia is passing and so far just high water but none threatening homes or even yards in AP, #elevationappreciation! We do have a tree down across the creek just past the boat ramp blocking river access. We have plans to have it removed ASAP. Stay tuned to NextDoor.com for updates posted on the AP Owners group page.
- If anyone with new wifi service from Brightspeed is waiting on their line to be buried, please email becca@arlingtonplace.com. There was an issue with the 3rd party vendor they use to drop the lines that has now been resolved but some of the work tickets got screwed up.
- Someone has been cutting branches off of the mimosa trees that flank the river pier. These trees are an important part of stabilizing the sand on our beach. We lost them a few years ago in a hurricane and now that they’ve grown back we don’t want to lose them again! (Yes we know they are considered an invasive species and will be maintained properly). If you have any info about this please email a member of the Advisory Committee, emails found HERE
- Reminder: boats, RVs, trailers are not to remained parked in a driveway or yard for a period longer than 2 weeks. If you need longer for whatever reason, please submit a Limited Covenant Exception form to the front office, form found HERE.
- Stay tuned to NextDoor AP OWNERS group for details on our next AP OPEN HOUSE event, tentatively scheduled for Friday, September 22nd from 4-6.

- IT TAKES A VILLAGE: AP is HUGE and we can’t be everywhere at once. We often get messages about minor issues and would love if neighbors could help out with the little stuff. So many of you are already doing this and we appreciate it more than you know, but we’d love everyone to pitch in. Of course, there are many things that we’d never ask/expect you to take care of and for those things, an email can be sent to an Advisory Committee member. Thanks in advance!!!
- EVENTS: only owner events will be allowed at the pool/clubhouse. An owner can no longer sponsor an event for someone else, it must be their personal event. Event schedule will be posted on the events CALENDAR. Event form can be found in the document library in the owner section.
- PICKLEBALL: will be played this month on the tennis courts, weather permitting. Have questions or want to join? Email Dennis: dgbalsly@msn.com
